by Shall We Date?

In october of 2015 I discovered the Shall We Date series mobile otome games and quickly got addicted to them. The first game I played was The Niflheim and soon after more followed, including Lost Island.

Keas immediately pulled my attention, despite not having a route for himself. The story itself wasn't the most exciting or well written one, but it was fun to me nontheless. All the characters started to feel like some sort of family and I replayed their routes multiple times. Since Keas never got his own route, (probably because he was the bad guy), I played Lionel's route the most; it gave Keas a lot of spotlight (and he showed interest in the mc... AH!). He's such a tragic character, one that hid his true intentions and blended in with the good guys while a terrible incident played across the island; people suddenly dying and coming back as zombies! Somehow I have a weakness for characters who are sly and clever, making everyone believe they can be trusted only for the big reveal to be (gasp! it was one of us who did the evil thing!). Still, Keas felt like a lonely person. (wip)

Sadly the Shall We Date? series has been discontinued since March 2023 and they have removed those games, including Lost Island. T_T Despite that, Keas is still often on my mind and I adore him a lot. So much so that I've blended him into several other media to drag him along with me haha.
